An event that boasts a collective of DJ’s that have been enriched within the Soul Music Scene for many years, playing their chosen sets within 3 rooms of music.
The Soul Disciples Room
This is our main room, where you will hear a cross-section of classics and forgotten gems, from the 70s right through to the present day, dedicated to provide you with great entertainment and even greater tunes.
The Connoisseurs Room
This is a space which is tailor made for pure soul heads and also those that are deeply enriched in black music. Playing between a range of Modern Soul and Rare Groove to Reggae and House. Everything will be catered for in one way or the other over the weekend in the Connoisseurs Room.
The Rhymes & Chimes Room
This is our club zone, where we highlight the classics that span the last 4 decades, from Hip-Hop to House to Garage and New Jack Swing. Everything is catered for in a club format style in the Rhymes & Chimes Room.

Well what can I say that hasn’t already been said ? Having been to many weekenders over the last 40 odd years I have to say SDW last weekend was up there as one of the best. Scott, Orlando & team went over & above to make it such a memorable weekend. Everywhere you looked was a sea of happy faces. All 3 rooms were buzzing from the fantastic handpicked Dj’s. Every year just gets better & better. Having been since the first one I now need to book fast for next year as I’m sure it will sell out real quick. So once again THANK YOU to all that made it happen. Hard work & dedication pays off.

Scott James, Orlando and everyone involved, including all the wonderful friends, old and new – thank you from the bottom of my heart for such a fantastic weekend. You all went above and beyond, providing genuine, heartfelt hospitality with no frills or agendas, just a sincere desire to make sure everyone was cared for and having an amazing time. You truly succeeded in that, and so much more. I can honestly say that us girls, along with so many others, can’t wait to come back for more. A huge thank you for all your hard work and dedication to making this weekend so special for all of us.

Thank you Scott James, Nicky Prill, Orlando, Ricky and all the gang for working so hard to bring us the most wonderful weekender. It’s the third time for me and I have to say it’s getting better every time. The musical journey Steve Armstrong took us on, with his three sets was absolutely amazing! Every deejay over the weekend was fantastic and they’re always so friendly. It was a pleasure to spend time with some of the loveliest people on the soul scene, the vibe was beautiful, energy was high and we didn’t stop smiling all weekend. What a feeling! Wish you could bottle it! See you next year!
