CJ has been on the Soul scene for many years, the London Soul scene in particular. Cutting his teeth in the world of Pirate radio on Groove FM, before moving onto the world of legal Radio. He has presented weekly Radio shows for the last 25 years. On Active FM, before moving onto Solar, Starpoint…… and now the number one Isolation Station….. Stomp Radio.

Deejaying wise, CJ got what was to prove his lucky break in the early 1990’s, when asked to play at Dr Bob Jones’s weekly B&S award winning Night Club “The Surgery”. He was resident there every Saturday Night for over a year.

In the Mid Nineties CJ along with his deejaying partner Stevie Cee started up a club night at the now infamous “Blue Note” club in Hoxton Square. The weekly Sunday afternoon session ran for several years, until the Blue Note was forced to close in the late 90’s.

CJ has played at many other  events over the years, such as Bob master’s Ibiza Soul Week,  Bob Jeffries Suite Soul sessions in Scotland, and Jamie McGreals London Soul Cruise’s…. to name just a few.

CJ can now be found hosting his  Saturday Soul Affair , one of London’s longest running Soul nights at The Burlington Arms in London’s Mayfair.
